Very well explained and very timely, thanks. For those who have ought this share, you have advised a Hold. Will you be re visiting this stock after a quarter – (by which time, the next Quarters earnings would be declared and some more visibility on the groups corporate actions would be available for analysis)- to advise new entry possibilities, or is this entirely price deterministic ? This question is to decide on fresh entry. Thanks again
Welcome your query sir
We will be keeping track of the stock
Either in the case of a fresh entry opportunity Or in the case of any major corporate action, we will be further updating our call
Thank you
The press release says – “The record date for the purpose of determining the members eligible to receive the interim dividend has been fixed as Friday, September 23, 2022,” it added.
The interim dividend will be credited on or around October 10, 2022, the company said.
Question – if i have to book profit by selling the stock, do I need to do it the next business day of sep 23 or oct 10 ? Or can be done now ?
Welcome your query sir
By record date, it means that those who are holding shares in their demat account as on that date (23rd september) will get dividend
So, even an investor who buys on 21st september will get dividend
Technically, the Ex-dividend date is 22nd September and you can sell on 22nd September. The stock price may also fall accordingly
Suppose you sell on 22nd, the date for giving delivery of shares will be 26th morning (since 24th and 25th are holidays) by which time it will go out of your DP
But sometimes, your broker will move it out from DP on 22nd evening itself and in which case, the dividend will get credited in pool account which in turn will be passed by the broker to you through ledger
This is one thing you may have to keep in mind
Thank you
