If I am not allowed to hold Dalmia stock by my company and holding Nuvoco, should I continue holding it or sell nuvoco and exit cement market?
Welcome your query sir,
The thought process behind giving a sell on Nuvoco was that it is a leveraged (has lot of debt) player also while the sector recovery is expected only from H2FY25, post elections. So, a growth trend that was developing was disturbed for now.
When we gave the buy call, we thought prices and volume growth were both picking up and that would sustain. But the pricing trend itself turned volatile.
It may be better to take a call off the sector at this point of time.
Thank you
