Prime Stocks update: Exit call on this EV player

With the evolution of the EV marketplace taking shape a little differently from when we gave a BUY call on this stock, we think it would now be best to EXIT this EV player.

  1. It saddens me to read this, I wanted to play the EV game – though this stock was perceived as high risk. If value was the segment that GEM wanted to play, then it seems to be up against players like Bajaj & TVS – behemoths who are deeply entrenched in this industry.

The odds of being benefitted by staying in the stock seems to be way too low basis the narrative – is this right reading?

      Welcome your query sir,

At this point of time, the Co is in back foot. But then it is not a Co that we can write-off.

We have seen how TVS scripted a big success story from a big laggard in the past decade.

So, what is visible on the ground now says that GEM will have to work hard to get back to its lost ground/market share.

Which makes it suitable only for high-risk takers, not the ones looking for earnings momentum in short term.

      Hope this clarifies

      Thank you
