  1. The stock has declined from 390 to 310 in just 5 trading sessions. Any specific reason for the fall? The thesis for the recommendation holds good? Is this fall an opportunity to buy?

  2. Thank you for your wonderful wonderful analysis. And clarifying my doubt.
Looking forward to many more articles.

    1. All our calls are long term but when cycles turn or when the fundamantal thesis changes, we do proide alerts on whether to hold or sell. This is not a short-term or trading call. Vidya

  3. Great Analysis. Thanks.
What would be the impact of increasing focus on renewable energy sources, would that dent the ethanol story in the long run

      Hello and thank you.
The need to wean off fossil fuels is quite well-established and immediate both from a climate perspective as well as from the point of view of reducing our import bill. EVs as an alternative still have a lot of ground to cover in terms of cost and infrastructure availability to make them truly ‘clean’ energy-wise. Biofuels on the other hand offer a more readily available solution. While in the long term ethanol could cede some share to other renewable energy sources, it will still remain a relevant part of the energy equation in a country like India with such a large dependence on agriculture that will provide a supply of biofuels.
